Who we are

Diamond Peak is a made-up home for real feelings: the crack of a bat on a June night, the coach who still rakes the same infield, and the twelve-year-old who already talks about state like it’s next week. We built Baseball Idaho so Treasure Valley parents, Eastern Idaho grandparents, and North Idaho diehards don’t have to dig through five group chats to find a roster, a box score vibe, or a story worth sharing.

We’re not a league office. We’re not an official results bureau. We’re the loud friend in the bleachers who keeps the names straight, cheers the diving catch, and remembers that youth ball in Idaho has always been bigger than the towns that host it.

Gem State roots

A short history of organized youth ball in Idaho

Youth baseball in Idaho grew up the same way the kids do — outdoors, a little dusty, and stubborn about quitting early. Long before travel tournaments and turf complexes, local diamonds sat between potato fields, pine forests, and sagebrush flats. Spring Little League nights still fill the air from Boise to Boundary County. Summer programs keep the lights on through July. High school programs lean on that same pipeline: local clubs that teach kids how to run the bases, take a sign, and tip a cap after a hard loss.

By the 2020s, families were following teams across regions with nothing but text threads and parking-lot rumors. Diamond Peak started Baseball Idaho as a single clubhouse for that story — a place to find the Hawks, Comets, Timberwolves, and Dust Devils without losing the local color that makes Idaho ball feel like Idaho ball. We mix the feel of a real season with fabricated teams and tales so the site can stay lively, archival, and fun to browse. Think scoreboard energy with a scrapbook heart.

  Lake-town swagger with Panhandle punch. They hunt early leads and refuse to give them back.

• Twin Falls Dust Devils — Magic Valley

  Whirlwind defense and southern-corridor heart. When they start rolling, the whole Magic Valley feels it.
